The Iranian president has started his own blog
What a piece of news !!!
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has just started his own blog !!
The blog is avalialbe in four langauges : Arabic + Iranian + English + French.
Take a look at it !
His first post:
Ahmadinejad wrote about how Ayatollah Khomeini began to appeal to him when the ayatollah was in exile during the 1960s and 70s.
He wrote: “The more I became familiar with his thought and philosophy, the more affection I had for that divine leader and his separation and absence was intolerable for me.”
He also used his blog entry to criticise the United States and to reflect upon the 1980-88 war with Iraq, when he served in the elite Revolutionary Guard.
He called Saddam Hussein, the former Iraqi president, the “aggressor” and wrote that international organisations tried to “distort and hide the facts that Saddam was the aggressor and that the arrogant powers had fully supported him”.
The blog was 2,000 words long in English and dated Friday. At the end of the blog, Ahmadinejad wrote: “From now onwards, I will try to make it shorter and simpler.”[ Source ]

Frankly, I don’t see the value of whos-who class people keeping a blog! There are GOVERNMENTS and newspapers with hundreds, maybe thouands of people taking care of tha job!

Qwaider: This is true bro, and Iran have an official website for the presidency. I don’t know, I think he might want to say something. The way he started his post by talking the poor city he has been raised in , and then his experience in the Iraqi war. It’s getting personal. Time will tell, who knows!

Iranian … we all know your language is Farsi Pahlavi (vs. Farsi Dari spoken in Afghanistan)! Abed is most certainly NOT an ignorant Arab but a well informed and caring one - and besides of all a great friend!
Quaider … I actually think it is quite an intelligent move from his side to open a blog - he knows the blogworld is densly “populated” and this way he can spread his message or whatever he plans to say, internationally. If his intention is to reach the masses - I think his calculation is correct. I’m simply curious what he’ll have to say and will curiously observe his blog.
