A fairly interesting post by Jasim (click here to read), triggered to write that was in my mind long time ago, and I think I pretty much said everything I wanted to say in the comments I wrote on his post.
He talked about human beings being evil in general, which is something I profoundly agree and understand, but I think I have more to add to this issue.
This is what I wrote to Jasim as a comment:
you touched a very important piece of wisdom, and by the way many philosophers talked about this, it’s even in the Quran that you will not find most of the people ( ولو حرصت) believers.
But there’s a catch here, and be careful. Humanity is evil, but human being isn’t evil ! Which means, humanity in general is ugly, the masses are ugly, however you will ALWAYS find unconquerable individuals, with the purest hearts, and those tiny few individuals are those moving our world and keep it in progress, they’re as one philosopher called them “The immovable movers”.
nice post buddy.
I will add more to my response.
How do I react to this ?
I first become an authentic reliable individual myself, then I seek those who are. If I get disappointed, I’ll get even stronger in terms of wisdom and correct decision-making. And trust me, at the end of the day, integrity prevails.
so what do you think people ?

As I said before, I agree with you qalban wa qaliban.

Damn you are so ghasheem…
“I first become an authentic reliable individual myself, then I seek those who are.”
and why bother ?!
I’ll work on myself and when I have enough power and wisdom, I’ll destroy all the evil, to be the ultimate emperor of the earth…
and make my beloved ” el majdal kindom ”
good post…
close to be nice fairly tale…

Jasim:
great minds think alike
Sharifo:
brother, you missed the whole point ! Listen, why do you think I wanted to be authentic for the love of brothers ? LOL
No, I said the majority are evil. So I’m not concerned about them, and I said “integrity” because I firmly believe it’s more powerful than cheating and evasion. And I also believe there’s one way to success, which is the hard way. And It’s a straight one indeed.
Lying and cheating could get you some short term results, but in the long run, your lost.
Think again about what I wrote. It’s not as you think, read it again.

You lost me how can you say you agree with Jasim, and then say the purest of heart are moving the world ? evil as it is ?

Hani Obaid:
so yo disagree with Jasim points ?
Of course the purest strong hearts ARE moving the world. And those are few tiny individuals, and there’s no malice in them. The majority are evil.
No contradictions here, Nobody can be good and evil at the same time, what I meant to say is very few are good and indeed are moving the world, while I agreed with Jasim that the majority ARE evil. Got my point?

I agree with Jasim too. I think if you always expect the worst from people, you will occasionally be pleasantly surprised, but if you expect the best, you will almost always be disappointed.
Yes, thank you for the clarification.

exactly. If you keep on expecting people to treat you good, then u’ll be disappointed big time. However you yourself must be authentic and straight.
thanks for your input Hani
