My moment of truth everybody! I first tried to write some facts about me that nobody knows, but seriously I didn’t find a thing to write. It’s because I thought (or I’d like to think) that I am an open book, but the truth is, I’m way far from that, and I know it. So I said why not, let the people ask and see how far their curiosity will go, it wasn’t a bad idea at all because honestly I didn’t know most of the answers myself, you people helped me discovering myself, and it’s this age where most of human beings figure out who they really are.

So enjoy..!

Answers:

Q) Hani Obaid: Describe in detail your ideal future wife?

A: Good question, because I really don’t know. I don’t know because I am not looking, and if I start looking I will maybe start setting the “ideal” traits of “the one”. But I have an idea in my mind and it’s simple. She should be an individualist who has her own life, plans, brains, culture, friends, ambitions, and dreams. I know that people in this age don’t have a clear idea what they want to do (and I am not an exception by the way), but I demand some level of determination and character. Nobody is perfect, but she should be complete because I am not planning to complete anybody. If she is not a complete individual, then not I, not anybody in the world will ever complete her. I will be a life time companion, not a baby sitter. This sounds a little bit complicated, but it’s not. Most of my female friends fall into this category, so it’s not as complicated as it seems.
Of course, I am an Islamist, so this should be taken into consideration. Age is not a big issue to me, but of course she shouldn’t be 10 years older than me. Acceptable looks is also important.
Another important thing is manners. I demand respect and appreciation. Respect is the only way to communicate with me, yelling is a deal breaker. Cheating is a deal breaker.

I hope this is detailed enough Hani :). All this might change, because I told you I don’t have a clear idea on the “ideal wife”, and I don’t have a clear decision on whether I am going to get married any time soon or whether I am ever going to get married (for so many reasons).

Q) d : Name three people you admire. People in your life, not historical characters.

A: First, “d”, thanks for always reading my blog, even though I don’t know who you are, but you make me feel appreciated :) .
Admiration is a big word, and I could give you a big big list hadn’t you demanded that you want people “in my life”. I have great friends and cousins who I like, but admiration is something else. I can name only one character that I truly admire and he is an uncle of mine. He is by far the greatest man in my life. Nothing super about him, except that he is an honest man. An honest man, a real man. This is the kind of man that if asked whether he is a good man or not his answer will be unquestionably yes. This man lives for himself, his family, his cousins , and for everybody. Meet him once and you will remember him forever because he still keeps his childhood innocence, and he keeps it easily, no matter how hard the circumstances he lives in. He is in his 50s now by the way.

That’s someone I admire. Other than him, it’s really hard for me to truly “admire” people.

======

Q) Mayasi : She asked four questions. There you go:

1- Where do u live n irbed?

I don’t live in Irbid anymore. I studied in Irbid, so I lived there for five years. Now I live and work in Kuwait

2- have u ever fallen in love?

Yes.

3- What do u wear in ur house? I mean are u tidy or just like that?

Pyjamas. “Just like that” ;)

4- how many girls u talk to now?
I’m not in a relationship, the only girls I talk to are my female friends and co-workers.

======

Q) LostWithin: what word best describes you?

A: Hopeful.
Despite my rather increasing cynicism, I still see myself as a very hopeful person. I have extremely high hopes on so many levels, and trust me my friend, the day I lose hope is the day I declare myself officially dead.

======

Q) Basil: What is the thing that you did and will regret for the rest of your life??
A: So many things. I seek Allah forgiveness for all the sins I’ve committed. We are humans, and we all do mistakes, and I have faithful hope that Allah may forgive me.

======

Q) Mab3oos: let’s say you are the president of some country, and you wanted to get a taxi cap, what color of socks would you wear knowing that the game on TV is canceled, and why would you not pick your nose at the traffic light as a guy waves at you and asks you for directions?

A) I will wear pink socks that matches the queer flip flops I’ll be wearing. And why of course I’ll pick my nose and shake hands with the first person I meet.

======

Q) Sara: How often do you think of death & what do you think of it?

A: Very often. On a daily basis. I think it’s both intimidating and painful.

======

Q) sweetlikearose: My friend Bara’ asked three question.

1. kam sar waznak?(What’s your current weight?)

A: Now it’s 90 KGs.

These are pictures of me last month, I put on a lot of weight recently, for so many reasons.

This is me last summer, see the difference hehe.

2. lesh ma bet7eb elsekerterat??(Why do you hate female secretaries?)

A: Well, liar if I say I don’t have issues with female secretaries! It’s because of many incidents. The ones I loathe are those that are hired based on their looks and only looks. And mind me, it’s not even looks, It’s how much their clothes are revealing. Not that it’s my business or anything, because really to each his own. But when I go to a big corporate,a classified governmental agency, or a big enterprise, the least I except from an employee is to know the difference between the TV and the computer. Trust me guys, if I ask a piece a furniture or if I ask that “chick” secretary, the response will be the same: a dumb smile “maba3ref” (I don’t know). So what I do now is, I just get inside without acknowledging their existence and find whatever I want by myself, because she’s paid to set there and give smiles only. lol. They wasted hell lot of my time!

3) sho aktar mawqef mo7rej sar m3ak bema63am?? (What’s the most embarrassing thing happened to you in a restaurant?)

A: Nothing special that I recall. But when my friends and I gather, it’s always embarrassing, we will be the noisy table with guys laughing out loud continuously. Last weekend I couldn’t stop imitating the Filipino waitress accent (or is it aqsen6? lol). So things like that always happen. We never run out of jokes.

======

Q) Sharifo:

1) Eish el asbab ele khalatak Nerd bel taree2a hadi ? (Why do you become nerd?)

A: Because I don’t have anything else to do. Nothing interests me enough so I tend to challenge myself with school work. I picked that habit when I was in the 6th grade.

2) when you are out anywhere not in a work mission, do you carry a pen or a pencil ?

A: Nope. I hardly carry myself, and I take one of my colleagues just to have an audience for the jokes I keep making up.

======

Q) TripleM: Have you ever been French kissed by a male friend before?

A: Why of course, I give French kisses to my guy friends all the time, because that’s what guy friends do !

======

Q) LuLu…!:
1. do u really love god more than anyone??

A: I’m trying my friend. It’s the mission of every Muslim, it’s not something to be done on the fly, neither is it something you stumble upon. It’s a life time job, it’s the journey each Muslim should enjoy during his span of years on earth.

2. have u ever felt b4 that u really hate urself and y???

A: Never, ever.

======

Q) Asoom: if you can change one circumstance in your life right now what would it be?

A: I’d choose a better family maybe, and easier circumstances. Things are/were pretty hard on me, and I’ve been holding responsibilities nobody my age should be holding. Alhamdulillah for everything. Many people have harder situations, and what doesn’t kill you is supposed to make you stronger (or at least I hope so).

======

Q) Moh’d Shaltaf:

حزب الله سيستعيد رفات كل شهدائه و رفات شهداء فلسطينيين وعلى رأسهم رفات الشهيدة دلال المغربي في صفقة لتبادل الأسرى عن طريق وسيط ألماني؟

A:
شعوري قريب من شعور الشهيد الكاتب غسان كنفاني:
“إنني أشعر أكثر من أي وقت مضى أن كل قيمة كلماتي كانت في أنها تعويض صفيق وتافه ل …”
الباقي عندك.

======

Q) Noura:

1. Have u ever fallen in Love ?? real love, not a crush ..

A. Yes, badly, madly, and deeply. And yes, I am a hopeless romantic, how about that? :)

2. If you were to plan something romantic for your future wife, what would it be ??

A. Nothing on my mind right now, and nothing is planned. It depends on her, our relationship, situation, and many other factors. I am fairly creative, only when “I” want to. As a kid I was a noticeable mouth-smart, and I still possess the ability to express myself fluently, this is the special gift God gave to me. I can also make eloquent speeches if I want to, so chances are it’ll be something written or spoken.

======

So guys, I hope the answers were satisfying ;)

Since I’ve got nothing to do lately, or actually I do have heaps of work to do, but I’ve been ignoring everything, I decided to do this famous tag but in a different way. Here are my rules:

I will answer the first four questions you guys ask in the comments. Only the first four.

So go on, ask me whatever you want, and I will just answer. Show some creativity ;)

bloody headache…

and thinking of tomorrow’s task at work, something I never heard of before…huft!

but I stumbled upon 7ala’s blog and the song she posted completely changed my mood..

I love old Ragheb’s

Click here to view…

by the way, this song reminded me of a very old remembered family incident.

my favorite uncle went to Greece, some years ago, and he was newly married. Somehow he forgot to buy his wife something, or he didn’t get the chance to buy her anything..anyway, he got back and he told her be brought her something big..so she was waiting..

then he ended up singing that song, telling her he brought her his heart! His wife still mentions this story till today, never forgiving him lol

have a nice day people :)

Blog and Bloggers and Thoughts and philosophyAbed Hamdan on 13 Jun 2008 07:36 pm

It’s the first time I write a “blog of the day” post, but seriously guys, for the first time I get surprised, delighted, and amused by a blog of a young girl. There are so many young girls bloggers out there, and they’re really good, but this blog took my attention today.

I know I am not a regular blogs reader anymore, but lately I’ve been reading left and right, randomly, whatever I stumble upon, specially if the post is short. I found some pattern in the blogs, a boring pattern to be honest. So I stopped. Then I went back to the blogs I used to read few years back, such as Qwaider, Ola, Rasha, Moey, Sou, and they are as exciting as they used to be. But Shaden’s blog (The Sugar Cubes) was the one that made my day.

Her writing style has matured big time. Not that it wasn’t good, it was very good, but now it’s becoming influential, brief, and profoundly powerful. Something I really missed.

Perhaps I am just sick of the hypocrisy in the middle east, and I can’t stand one more hypocrite post, kissing the ass of one government (for whatever reason), or cheerleading for one not-so-sexy blogger. Seriously guys, we’ve had it.

And I didn’t change my mind, for those who knew me long enough, they know that I firmly believe that the most depraved of all aren’t the simple ones who go with the flow, no I actually pitty those, and I can go as far as considering them my brothers. I can also skip the fact that they can be harmful, because they do it unintentionally. I’d like to quote Plato on this:

“As empty vessels make the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest blabbers “

and dear Lord, how many empty vessels do we have!!

I can go on and make execuses for those, but at certain point we need to shut them up.

Now going back to the most depraved of all, in my very humble opinion, I think the most depraved of all are those who know they support the devil, and they do it intentionally. They know themselves, and they have their own agenda. We all know it. They know it.

Sometimes they belong to a certain family, and that family is known for its support to a certain party, and money talks here.

Others belong to a certain group, with certain beliefs. Be it religous, political, or whatever. Those will just do about anything to support their party. Even when they know they’re wrong, they will do it malicously, continuously, and they can write infleuntial articles. Those I have no mercy for.

I quit writing for a while now, for so many reasons. It’s not that I don’t have time (my regular lame execse). I have all the time in the world, actually I have time to read those thousands of pages books, and I finish them in 3 days sometimes. Along with that, I pass sophisticated exams, and work for 14 - 16 hours sometimes. So yes, I am the king of my own time, I always have time.

There are so many reasons why I don’t write any more, some of which are too personal to share, and some aren’t that important. All in all, I won’t share why I do not write. It’s not important at all. Whatever.

I know I post “things” sometimes, but this is not writing. This is not what I do. One song, picture, or one quote isn’t quite me.

My writing style is not organized anymore, this post was supposed to be about The Sugar Cubes, and I just made it about me.

The sugar cubes is a blog worth reading, an honest intellecual is the least to say.

Five amazing years I spent in Jordan, and they passed in a blink of an eye. I spent most of them in Irbid, where I went to college. I met so many great people there, and I will never forget those years. This is how I remember Jordan, and this is how I miss Jordan.

A fairly interesting post by Jasim (click here to read), triggered to write that was in my mind long time ago, and I think I pretty much said everything I wanted to say in the comments I wrote on his post.

He talked about human beings being evil in general, which is something I profoundly agree and understand, but I think I have more to add to this issue.

This is what I wrote to Jasim as a comment:

you touched a very important piece of wisdom, and by the way many philosophers talked about this, it’s even in the Quran that you will not find most of the people ( ولو حرصت) believers.

But there’s a catch here, and be careful. Humanity is evil, but human being isn’t evil ! Which means, humanity in general is ugly, the masses are ugly, however you will ALWAYS find unconquerable individuals, with the purest hearts, and those tiny few individuals are those moving our world and keep it in progress, they’re as one philosopher called them “The immovable movers”.

nice post buddy.

I will add more to my response.

How do I react to this ?

I first become an authentic reliable individual myself, then I seek those who are. If I get disappointed, I’ll get even stronger in terms of wisdom and correct decision-making. And trust me, at the end of the day, integrity prevails.

so what do you think people ?

Bloggers and ThoughtsAbed Hamdan on 20 Feb 2008 07:28 pm

Ever since I decidedly abandoned my blog, it has been haunted by my invaluable loyalist friends who keep on asking and leaving comments here and there, thank you sooooo much :)

According to Jersualem, I have to write 6 things, pieces of wisedom, that people should learn before being 18. I HATE GIVING ADVICE.

1. Learn how to learn from your mistakes, especially the painful ones.

2. If your father keeps telling you that people with clear consciene and sharp integrity are doomed to fail, never believe him. Integrity always prevails.

3. First love never workout.

4. You aren’t always right, and you have to have the courage to admit that you are wrong especially when a vicious opponent proves you wrong.

5. You should seriously start building a solid profound understanding of your religion and beliefs.

6. Don’t listen to me because I’m not serious 99.9% of the time.

I want to start blogging again!! I really want to ! :(

I don’t have internet connection at home, that’s why I don’t read/write blogs anymore!! It’s not that tempting to blog from net cafes, especially when you don’t go to cafes very often.

I’ll try to do something about it, I have to!! because I really missed blogging and missed communicating with fellow bloggers via blogs instead of social networks (i.e facebook).

So what are the latest bloggers’ news ? anything new ?

There are like millions of things I wanted to blog about, but didn’t have the heart to.

There are something I’d like to say in brief:

1) Thanks to Ola for the distinguished effort. Here.

2) Good luck SouqElArab, and thanks for the offer. Here.

3) Thank you Kris, and good luck. Here.

4) Good luck Assom with the new blog. Here.

5) Good luck Search4jordan. Here.

6) Sorry If you contacted me and I didn’t respond, I have some good excuse.

7) I was in deep shit, now things are getting better Insha’Allah.

I’m alive btw lol :)

Yesterday was a day to remember, for many reason’s, Macadi Nahhas’s concert was one crucial reason. There I met Hayat, her foreign friend (I forgot his name?), and my friend Ghassan (the one who writes comments with the name m3awwz). The fellow blogger Roba was also there. It’s good to see you all :)

Macadi’s performance was awesome, and there’s something about her voice, something that can’t be described by words. I’m really impressed ! She sung many songs without musical instruments, mawaweel, and those were amazing. Her voice reminded me of Fairouz. I’m not saying she’s better than Fairouz, and I’m not saying Fairouz is better either. She’s just different. And she’s young, she has all the future waiting for her. Way to go Macadi :)

She was obviously nervous at the very beginning of the concert, she was singing more like Om Kolthoom, and yes her clothes also reminded me of Om Kolthoom. Don’t get me wrong here, I love Om Kolthoom, I’m talking positively. But then she broke the ice with few jokes.

“Natalie” was the song of the concert, and the song Macadi tried to promote in her new album Khilkhal.

Finally I would like to thank Macadi for the autograph she signed for me, and the one she signed for MaYoSh (who introduced me to Macadi). Thanks for your nice words :)

you can listen to some songs of the concert on Roba’s blog.

=== update ===:

Khobbeizeh was also at the concert! He recorded some songs!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting some bloggers of http://jordanblogs.net , the Jordanian blogosphere community.

It was a great experience indeed. meeting people you know -and those you don’t know- for almost a year just through blogging and comments. The idea itself was awkward somewhat, and I never expected having so much fun with people I meet for the first time.

The most interesting thing about the people I met is their level of maturity, and their outstanding awareness, and that’s the least to say :)

I don’t wanna mention names right now, but you can take a look at the pics. Oh by the way, Shaden uploaded the pics of the meeting, ..she’s dead already, im convinced.

suck.jpg

My pics are the worst pics ever; so now let the humor begins:

How did I manage to have a shining face ?? did I use Detol or Flash cleaner ?? that’s the million dollars question.

Shy ?? why, Im showing a gayish smile, does this have anything to do with the newly controversial blog aka “gay Jordan”, whose author happens to be living in Irbid ???

My leg looks more like a cow leg; Is this a sufficient proof of Darwin’s Evolution theory ??? and If so, does that make me related to the cows breed ???

and Oh, this is Khaled on my right side, and M.Q on the left side..

Khaled is starring at M.Q, and M.Q looks more like a Syrian minister, given the fact that M.Q is Syrian….

does this make M.Q a Syrian intellegince agent ??

is this a proof that Khaled works for the CIA ??

and if so, did the meeting end with a fight between the two dudes ???

man, we are so … losers, and Im a public joke already ;)

now let’s answer the “thinking” (or shall we say the “linking” ? ) tag.

by Khaled Nazzal. The rules are simple:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn’t fit your blog).

mmm, all the blogs I read make me think :D …mmm

then I’ll take the chance to introduce my new friens, Palestinians 48…If you don’t know what the term mean, I assure you Im gonna talk about it soon, so stay tuned!

3) She Devil

4) Almotasha2el

“Happy Single Awareness Day”. Weird, isn’t it ?

As girlish as it may seem, and since I’ve been doing nothing but : eating, sleeping, gaining weight, and surfing the web since my last exam at the university. So yesterday I decided to get out of bed and surprisingly I decided to go out to do something else rather than buying food!

I went to buy perfume and I really enjoyed the smell of the shop! Not only the smell, but the look of the shop. An extreme makeover, they changed the facade of the shop and decorated everything with the color “red” ! As I always act, a stranger from another planet, I asked the guys there (with all the assurance in the world in my voice) if it is the apples celebration or the national day of trees (I don’t know where I got these terms from anyway)! They giggled, and said it’s for “VALENTINE’s DAY” !

I laughed, picked up my perfume (Dunhill for the curious) and walked back home! Ahh, the shop is infront of the mansion where I live, I can see it from the window lol..

Anyway, It’s February/3rd and I decided to celebrate already…and this is how the celebration went: I sneaked to the blog archives of my friends and read what they wrote in the last couple of years in February, specifically in February/14th (I deleted my post of last february/14th *angel*) and look at what I found:

The most interesting blog was JNET, of course!

In February 2005, she wouldn’t stay alone or let her friends spend the night alone so she invited her friends to party at her house! Good idea JNET!!

I don’t invite anybody to my room..! :D

In February 2006, she was greeted “Happy Single Awareness Day” !

Actually I didn’t wanna talk about Valentine’s day in specific, but about occasions like Eid, Christmans, Hanukka, ..etc.

Apart from the religious importance of some occasions (which we pay the least attention for), I think today these occasions are making people feel nothing but bad about themselves. Not everyone have enough money to buy new cloths for the Eid, not everyone have families to spend Christmas with, and orphans have no fathers to greet on father’s day!

Happy single awareness day :P

Bloggers and Humor and MarriageAbed Hamdan on 24 Jan 2007 05:37 am

It seems that I’ve missed much during the last “ugly” semester! I think the situation in the blogsphere could be summarized by one word “Marriage” LOL

First, there was this intillegent blogger “Neverland” who deleted her blog after getting married! We missed you Neverland and we wish you joy and happiness :)

Then, few months ago Fadi posted the big news of his engagement which for some reason I though that his bride was Neverland, anyway he was so happy! Fadi is a good guy and I’m sure he will be as happy as he deserve :)

Now what I’ve missed is the engagement of another two fabulous bloggres:

1) Ramroom.

What can I say ?? alf mabrook! I wish you the best! and congratulations for your new car :P

2) THE BIGGEST NEWS HERE IS ===> Dino (IsLaMiC Chocoholic) !! Here I’m very surprised!! Dino is the funniest blogger of all times!! She was posting alot about her love story with a cow that saved her life and to be honest I beleived that she’s going to marry her cow and ,..LOL

This is her cow love epic :

Then suddenly, Dino was mean enough to break the heart of her beloved heroic cow :(

.

This is so mean !!! :( and probably this is the most heart breaking love story I’ve ever heared! LOOL

Good Luck for Dino & 7amooda!! I wish you long happy life filled with warm love :D

Of course I didn’t forget Diana (aka Tulip), she put a count-down wedding counter for her wedding party at the footer of her blog, she got engaged few months ago..her wedding party will be on 1/8/2007 insha’allah, all the best sis! :)

==== Last Update: February/1st, 2007 ====

I would like to make a list for Bloggers from my university JUST (Jordan University of Science and Technology).

Blogging is geeky no wonder, and hence blogging has become popular at JUST, probably the most geeky students in Jordan are in JUST!

Here are the names I know so far, If you happen to be blogger or have anything to do with JUST, just comment here and let me know.

Professors:

1) Dr. Taisir Eldos ( Blog | Website )

Let me proudly introduce Dr.Taisir Eldos, from the Computer Engineering department, one of the best professors I’ve ever met. He’s the first professor to blog in JUST and probably in Jordan. His blog is pure technical, yet interesting, highly informative, and has the most up to date information about the new technologies in the world of Computing. If you wanna know how the future will look like, then keep en eye on Dr.Taisir Blog.

Alumni:

1) Arabesque Rhapsody : Architecture 2001.

Ohoud’s Arabesuqe Rhapsody is one of the first blogs I’ve read. I accidentally visited her blog last year, and ever since I become a dedicated fan. It is an interesting mixture of topics that includes Architecture, Art, books, politics, culture, Jordan, personal stuff, Palestine, and personal musings.

2) Rain Drop: Computer Engineering ( what year? )

Cool blog that contains miscellaneous stuff about computers, technology, humor, Palestine, and politics.

3) Sami Majed: Electrical Engineering BA 1998, MA 2003

Great blog about politics, palestinian cause, and middle east crises.

Graduate Students:

1) Khaled Nazzal: MA student at the Biosystems department.

He is one of the worst bloggers in the world, don’t you ever visit his blog; it contains adults stuff only :P

kidding kidding!!

I met this guy few days ago at the university, and I would like to tell you that he is one of the best people I’ve ever met. He is very decent, smart, funny, and brilliant. He is one of few people I made friends with in zero time.

His blog is one of my favorites. It’s a personal, political, humorous, and amusing blog. It’s a must read blog!

Undergraduate Students:

1) Dar: Medicine 2001

Darweesh is a nice guy and so is his blog. His blog is a peaceful web space about his life (or his crazy life as he says). He talks about the challenges facing Med students along with some sarcastic posts about our daily Jordanian life.

2)Abed. Hamdan ( English | Arabic ) : Computer Engineering 2002

Ok my blogs ! The best blogs in the world, of course! lol

3) VagueRaz : Computer Engineering 2002

A personal friend of mine, she’s new to blogging, and her blog is an Arabic blog, usually contains personal rants and rambles about everything.

4) Walid Al-Zebda: Computer Engineering 2002

One of my best friends, he’s new to blogging, and is currently busy due to graduation project and tuff courses like yours truly.

5) Amani’s World: Computer Engineering 2003

I accidentally discovered this blog few days ago. It’s amazing how she blogged in “Japanese” !! Yes, she had studied Japanese ! alone!!

The blog is mainly technical, and contains some photos of the university and of our LABs. I happen to be in the one of those Labs, physically in this Lab; I know nothing about it. It’s called “Interfacing LAB”, that’s what everybody but students of 2002 call it.

We call it “Entertainment LAB” ;) Oh, actually all Labs have been nothing but entertainment rooms!

6) Amer : Computer Engineering 2006

The blog is called “GalaG” and he claims that JUST is a place where there is no hot chicks or cool stuff to do ;) I haven’t met this guy, but I already like him.

This is a video blog, probably the first Jordanian video blog ( see ? JUST students are creative :P ). I like this blog, there are many funny videos, and he makes his own clips.

7) Sayed Mahmood Alaali: Computer Information Systems 2003

A fellow student from Bahrain, his blog is an Arabic blog about programming, religion, Jordan, and various interesting stuff.

8 ) Ahmad Durazi : Computer Engineering 2003

Another personal friend of mine, collegue, and a brother from Bahrain. He is new to blogging, his blog is currenlty a personal blog..welcome Mr. Ahmad durazi (aka Bahraini!)

9) Yugi (Issa) : Computer Science 2004

An interesting blog , again from the Computer Science department, about Technology, Jordan, JUST, ..etc.

This is an image banner that links to this post, as a directory for JUST bloggers, feel free to add it to your blog.

Two squirrels, in the barren land next door, look across the purple fence: the green pastures crowded with various toot trees varying in length, color, and age. The squirrels turn back to the barren land, and suddenly… magic, a small acorn tree surfaces the ground…

Do you have a strong “wasta” with the iBaloo6 management and wish for your blog to be reviewed and added in the coming hour? Feel free to leave a comment!

There’s a problem between two of my favorite bloggers: Neverland and Wedad.

The Problem is:

Wedad is a devoted Christian girl, she copy/pasted an article written at elaph newspaper, this is article is considered offending to Muslims.

Neverland is a loyal Muslim girl, and as a result of Wedad’s action, she responded to her post.

Later on, Wedad deleted her post, and politely apologized.

I would like to say something IMPORTANT:

Dear Friends,

I want to remind of you something important:

The first thing you do when beleiving in God (regardless of your religion) is to learn & understand the concept of forgiving.
I understand why Neverland is upset. Im upset too.
but Wedad apologized and removed the post.
What is right (in my opinion ) is that both Neverland and Wedad forgive each others, and get rid of any hard feeling.

Forgive each others girls, and show us how great are both of you. Fights and wars happen all the time, but we should be better, and we should learn to forgive, specially when the other is showing good intentions.
both of you showed good intentions, Neverland’s good intension was getting mad because of her religion, which is a duty, and Wedad showed good intentions because of the apology and the removal of article..

Shake Hands, forget what happened, and Show the world that we’re beyond any kind of racism.

A word to Wedad: I would like to give you an advice as a sister, be extra careful with what you read in the media, we’re dealing with an unfair CONTROLLED media. When you just copied and pasted the article, you didn’t realize that you were doing something wrong for your religion. Some people might hate Christian because of an article that you didn’t write. Be careful.

A word to Neverland: Standing for your religion is the most nobel duty, and you did it well. You’re point is 100% valid, and you’re speaking from a solid background. But , as our religion forces us, if the other want peace, we should give them peace. If they showed good intetion we should show back good intention. Islam is all about peace, If there’s a chance to peace, then we should take it, otherwise, we don’t give up our rights.

Before I finish, take this side note please, and think about it:
Q) Why did the crappy Journal “elaph” published such an article?

A) to create such racism and fights between us.

our reaction should be:
Show them that your effort (elaph’s effort) is worthless.

Just as a last warning, I want to warn you from another news station that is even worse than elaph. Im taking about Al-Arabiya net, in my opinion, it’s the worst arabic broadcasting channel ever. Just don’t read it.

I have an exam on Wednesday, Wish me luck! or otherwise I will start an endless religous war with everybody here !! *smile*

Salam ! :)

Let me tell you about one of the best blogs I’ve ever seen, this not an exaggeration.
This blog is from a mother living in Gaza under the Israeli occupation, guys you should read her blogs, she describes the situation in Gaza in a magnificant way, and It’s not surprising, since she’s a journalist.
so if you wanna take a look at what’s really happening in the palestinian occupied territories, away from the damned media, then Laila el-Haddad the Mother of Yusuf is the answer.

Katharina and I had a discussion two days ago about the Danish cartoon controversay, the discussion was really interesting, click on the comments of the journal titled “Racism against Islam : Danish cartoons” if you want to read the whole discussion. We had different point of views, and it make sense cuz both of us came from completely different culture, but however, we have one essential thing in common; both of us are seeking peace and love, and nothing but peace and love. There’s a big hole between muslims and westerns, the there are many things need to be explained, and unfortunately, propaganda increased hatered between each side.
We thought that we should start a blog of our own to talk about our fears, differences, thoughts, and to reduce the whole between the two worlds. Katharina and I are the first members of that blog, we’ll invite some of our friends from both worlds to participate in the discussion. Everyboy is welcome to share ideas and to talk about his/her culture.
join us now !

please help us so we can make a difference together!
